About the scheme

PM Surya Ghar Yojana is a government initiative in India aimed at promoting the use of solar energy in residential areas, particularly focusing on rural and semi-urban households. Installation Subsidy

As part of PM Surya Ghar Yojna, the government is providing massive subsidies to incentivise the adoption of rooftop solar.

Solar systems up to 2 kW: Subsidy of Rs.30,000 per kW.

Additional capacity up to 3 kW: Subsidy of Rs.18,000 per kW.

Total subsidy for systems exceeding 
3 kW: Maximum of Rs.78,000.

How to Apply

REGISTRATION

  • To register select your state and electricity distribution company.

  • Enter your electricity consumer number, phone number and email.

LOGIN

  • Apply for the rooftop solar as per the form.

  • Login with cosumer number & mobile number.

  • On approval, the rooftop solar plant will be installed

NET-METERING

  • The portal will generate a commissioning certificate after net-metering and DISCOM inspection.

  • After installation, Atria will submit the certificate and apply for net metering.

SUBSIDY CREDIT

  • The portal will generate a commissioning certificate after net-metering and DISCOM inspection.

  • Upon receiving certificate, Atria will update your bank details and upload your canceled cheque.
